Enrollment in Acellus Academy is open year-round. Since each course is self-paced, parents have the flexibility to choose a start date that best meets their family’s schedule. Upon enrollment, students will be placed at the beginning of each course and can begin studying immediately.

Basic student information will be required during the enrollment process (name, DOB, etc.). If the parent wishes to transfer credits completed at another high school, a transcript will be required to qualify the student for graduation. However, the transcript may be submitted after enrollment.
For elementary and middle school enrollments, a transcript or report card are not necessary. For more information about submitting a high school transcript to transfer credits to Acellus Academy, please see the following tutorial: Creating a High School Education Plan
The enrollment process must be completed by the student’s parent or legal guardian (unless the student is over the age of 18).
During the enrollment process parents have the option to enroll under the Roger Billings Scholarship. To qualify for the scholarship, students must tune into Science LIVE weekly. This program helps to inspire and motivate students to study hard. Students can watch Science LIVE in their account under the ‘Science LIVE’ tab. If students are unable to watch live, they can fulfill the requirement by tuning in later in the week.
Acellus Academy delivers online instruction through high-definition video lessons, made more engaging with multimedia and animations. Students study at their own pace and can log in from a computer, tablet, or phone. Please see the following resources for additional information:

At Acellus Academy, we embrace a self-paced learning model in which each course is taught through-video based lessons. This method of teaching allows parents the flexibility to plan breaks and vacations without disrupting their student’s schooling schedule. On days when a student doesn’t log in, they will not be considered absent and their grade will not be impacted. Credit for a course is awarded upon successful completion of all lessons, assignments, and exams. To maintain steady progress, we set weekly goals in each class, which students should strive to meet or exceed. This helps ensure they keep pace with their studies and avoid falling behind.
Credits earned while attending another high school or a college may be transferable. An official transcript will be required from each institution you are transferring credits from. Only credits with a grade of C- or greater are eligible for transfer. Acellus Academy reserves the right to decline the transfer of credit(s). After enrolling, parents can enter transfer credits into their student’s High School Education Plan and submit transcripts.
Please note: To graduate through Acellus Academy, students must complete the entire 12th grade through Acellus Academy (minimum of 6 credits) and be enrolled for a minimum of twelve months.
If a student transfers from Acellus Academy to another school, the parent may request a transcript to show the courses completed while the student was enrolled at Acellus Academy. It is important to note that credit will not be awarded for partially completed courses.
Acellus Academy welcomes students from all 50 U.S. states as well as international students. Acellus Academy is accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and College), which is widely recognized throughout the nation.
