Acellus Academy is proud to celebrate the achievements of two of our students who have earned recognition in the competitive Lumiere Scholars Essay Award. Through exceptional research and writing abilities, these students were awarded the High Honor Award and the Excellence Award for their essays, placing them in the 97th and 95th percentiles nationally.
About the Lumiere Scholars Essay Award
The Lumiere Scholars Essay Award is an international competition that challenges high school students to explore complex issues through compelling, evidence-based argumentative essays. Participants are encouraged to investigate topics of personal significance, think across disciplines, question conventional assumptions, and support their ideas with rigorous research and analysis.
Established by graduates of Harvard and Oxford, Lumiere Education is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of scholars and researchers. The competition attracts thousands of submissions each year from students representing more than 100 countries.
Award-winning essays are selected for publication in the Oxford Journal of Student Scholarship, providing students with the opportunity to share their research and insights with a global audience.
