Online High School for 10th Grade Students

Join our graduates across the nation and earn your diploma online, at your pace, on your schedule.

Tenth Grade Overview

Acellus Academy is an accredited online school, meaning high school students graduate with a high school diploma upon completion of all necessary requirements. Our mission is to provide a self-paced online education that expands students’ access to college and career opportunities.

The courses taken during tenth grade vary from student to student. We recommend creating a high school education plan to make sure all requirements are being met. Other than meeting certain graduation requirements, parents and teens have the liberty to select courses the students find most interesting.

Subjects Offered in Acellus Academy’s Online 10th Grade Program

Acellus Academy provides a variety of course options to our high school students. These include advanced placement and honors courses for students who show talent in a subject area.

Our high school courses cover the core subjects of mathematics, science, language arts, and history and social studies while also offering electives for students to explore interests that may lead to career opportunities.

10th Grade Course Structure

Acellus Academy uses captivating video lessons and interactive course materials in every course. Quizzes, exams, and hands-on projects and activities allow students to apply the concepts that are covered in their units and lessons.

Our courses provide each student with a personal learning experience using an innovative tool called Prism Diagnostics. By finding gaps in a student’s prior knowledge, it fills in potential holes by prompting extra help videos and practice problems. The Acellus Learning Accelerator lets students advance through the material at their own pace while getting additional assistance on the lesson they struggle with understanding.

Students access all courses and resources through the Acellus App where they log in to a student interface. Here, students can view their lessons, assignments, grades, and progress as well as set goals for their courses.

Creating a High School Education Plan

We recommend that ninth grade students create a high school education plan. Creating a plan helps students select classes and ensures they are on track to completing the graduation requirements. The education planning process does not take much time and can be updated or edited if necessary. The plan outlines the student’s plan of study, graduation pathway, college and career planning, and tuition and fees.

Enrolling Your 9th Grade Student in Acellus Academy

Acellus Academy accepts students on a rolling basis. We have an open enrollment policy, which allows parents to enroll their students at any point throughout the year. Once the admissions process is completed, students can create a high school education plan and begin classes as soon as possible.
