CybrTech Certification Program

Become a Cyber Technology Specialist

There has never been a better time to consider a career in cybersecurity. By 2021, there will be an estimated 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity positions available.1

Cybersecurity professionals are responsible to protect sensitive data from being compromised in a variety of computing environments. A single breach can disrupt the lives of millions of people and can cause major organizations to go out of business.

The CybrTech Certification Program provides training on how to help schools and businesses mitigate risk by deploying the following critical security strategies using GoldKey products and services.

  • Encrypted Email — Research has shown that 91% of cyberattacks start with a phishing email.2 CybrTechs are trained on how to deploy encrypted email systems to safeguard privacy and prevent phishing attacks by authenticating email senders within a business or organization.
  • Secure Communications — Use of mobile devices to communicate sensitive information can greatly increase the risk of data becoming exposed. CybrTechs learn how to set up secure communications within an organization so that text messages, video conferencing, and phone calls are encrypted end-to-end.
  • Encrypted Cloud Storage — Moving data into the cloud provides businesses with flexibility but also increases the risk of a data breach. CybrTechs are trained to deploy encrypted cloud storage and configure access throughout an organization so that authorized users may access data from all their devices without compromising security.
  • Two-factor Authentication — Conventional methods of protecting user logins with a username and password have been compromised numerous times. CybrTechs learn how to deploy two-factor authentication so that users are required to securely sign in using a USB security token or access card.
