On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross a portion of the United States, creating a rare celestial event where the moon aligns perfectly between the Earth and the Sun, casting a shadow that plunges parts of the Earth into daytime darkness. This extraordinary event will be visible across fifteen states, offering a unique opportunity to witness daytime stars as darkness falls during the eclipse.

Acellus Academy is inviting families to celebrate this spectacular event by hosting or joining official watch parties along the eclipse’s path.

IMPORTANT:

Wear Proper Eye Protection

It’s crucial to protect your eyes during the solar eclipse. Direct sunlight, even during an eclipse, can cause severe eye damage. It is important to wear specially designed solar eclipse glasses. It is only safe to view the eclipse without protection during the brief period of totality, when the moon fully blocks the sun’s light. Please exercise caution and ensure everyone in your party uses proper eye protection.
