Aspiring M.D. Accepted to Top College with $140K Scholarship
Meet Boris, an honors Acellus Academy graduate who is passionate about medicine and researching cures for rare brain diseases such as glioblastoma. Boris volunteers at his local hospital, and in 2023, presented his ground breaking medical research at the AMSA convention. With aspirations of becoming an M.D., he was accepted into the University of South Carolina’s Undergraduate to MD program of the School of Medicine, with over $140,000 in college scholarships.
Tier-1 Honors Program
Acellus Academy offers a rigorous Honors Program that prepares students for competitive four-year universities while acquiring credits that will let them get a head start in their college career. The Honors Education Pathway includes a challenging arrangement of courses that offer a diverse set of skills through AP and Honors options including up to two years of calculus and college-level studies in physics, chemistry, and biology.
Through our unique self-paced instructional approach and a comprehensive selection of honors-level courses, our students are graduating high school with a solid foundation of knowledge, helping them prepare for the challenges of college and beyond.
Dual Enrollment Opportunities
The self-paced format of Acellus Academy online high school courses gives students the opportunity to engage in dual-enrollment programs at local colleges. With dual-enrollment, students can earn college credits which can then be transferred to Acellus Academy, satisfying high school credit requirements for graduation.
This flexibility enables students to kickstart their college education, equipping them with college credits and laying a strong foundation for future studies.
Advanced Placement Courses (AP)
Acellus Academy offers College Board approved AP courses that allow your student to earn college level credits in high school as well as prepare them for the rigor that is typical of colleges and universities. Acellus AP courses train students to achieve passing grades on AP exams so that they may receive proper college credit recommendation for their AP course. Taught by some of America’s greatest teachers, Acellus courses incorporate professionally-filmed video lessons with some of the best equipment available in the cinematic industry.
Self-Paced Courses
Each course is self-paced, allowing students to spend extra time as needed to master each lesson concept. Families have the flexibility to plan and adjust their schedule as needed.
Year-Round Enrollment
Students may enroll in Acellus Academy at any time during the year. After enrolling, students will start at the beginning of each course and begin making their way toward graduation.
