I just enrolled my kids in Acellus. Our last day in our public school was Friday Monday was a holiday with Martin Luther King day. We traveled to NY. I’m trying to figure out how to attend the science live. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Hi I’m a student at Acellus so when your child signs in they will go to activities where they will find Science Live and if you miss one you go below it and hit more episodes and after 100 lives your child will have one science credit finished. I hope this helps! 🙂
Thank you this helps. My son is a new student at Acellus and we’re still trying to iron out few of wrinkles lol. I’m never home during the podcast I’m at work and we’re in Mountian time to.
I just enrolled my son on Jan 20th. We tried looking for a link for the science live viewing but we could not find anything. Can someone please provide some guidance as to how we join on Wednesdays and how we can view past lives?
Hello Yesica – Visit ScienceLive.com, the official site for Science L!VE. The live stream is hosted there each Wednesday evening.
Hello, how do I find where the High School Courses for 10th grade?
how long is the live? i have church at 7 every wenesday/
it is one hour from now 6:30pm to 7:30pm but you can rewatch it later.
Hi! What timeframe do you have to watch the live each week for it to count towards the scholarship? Are you counted as watching it as long as you watch it before the next one (so you have Wednesday – Tuesday each week to watch the current one)? Thanks!
Thanks for your comment! While we’d love for students to catch Science L!VE in real time, they’re absolutely welcome to watch the recording anytime between Wednesday and Tuesday to stay on track for the scholarship, remember to have the student sign in with their Acellus Student ID and password to make sure we know they’ve watched the episode. https://sciencelive.com/
Good Evening, for the question above. My child has basketball practice every Wednesday at 7pm. I just want to confirm that even if we do the video let’s say the next morning. Which would be Thursday the following day. My child would be able to still watch the video and asked a question and sill keep the scholarship price. As long as he watch the video before the following Tuesday.
Hi. I am a student here at Acellus, and you can catch Science L!VE anytime during that week for it to count for your child’s scholarship. If you don’t watch the most recent one within the week it was aired, it will be put against your child’s scholarship. So I greatly recommend your child watch the most recent science live within the week it was aired. Your child has to watch 100 Science L!VE’s for it to cover for a science credit. You go back to past L!VE’s and watch them and they will count. But you still have to keep up on the weekly L!VE’s for your child to keep their scholarship!
Hope this helps!😊
Can I watch previous videos after I watch the most recent?
Hi Chris – You can view previous Science L!VE episodes here.
Hi,
I’m a student here and my name is Aimee Incle (15-year-old girl). I have been a student here for almost 4 years now and I am wondering why there is no science live; this week I came to watch, and it is the same video it was last week, and it is Wednesday today but it’s not live or anything like it usually is. Is there a reason why or should I try to troubleshoot my machine and see if that helps? I also have an issue with my order. I used my points to order a keychain off of your store and it has been 3 months since I ordered it. My father and I called you guys, but you guys said you would make sure to send it and it has been 1 month since we called you but still haven’t gotten our order.
Hi Aimee, Thanks for reaching out! The latest Science L!VE episode has been updated. It’s possible the video hadn’t loaded yet when you checked. For your order, I’d recommend contacting our Acellus Academy Support Team at info@acellusacademy.com to follow up on your request. Best of luck!
If I have 4 kids doing school through acellus, can we all watch the live video together and then each child just login and submit their information to show that they’ve watched it? I want to sit with them to make sure they watch it, so I thought we could do it all at the same time.
Hi, I’m a student at Acellus, and your kids can just sign in separately through a phone, computer etc, sign in with Acellus, submit a comment and it counts towards watching 100 Science L!VEs.
Hello I am a student here at Acellus. Lots of parents have asked this question. You can have your children watch Science L!VE together but have them first sign in separately and submit a comment and it will count for watching the video. Just remember they have to watch 100 of the L!VEs for it to count.
Hope this helps!😊
where can i watch science live?
Hello – You can watch Science L!VE at the following link: Science L!VE
Hi! I’ve been a student on Acellus for about 2 years now. I just want to say thank you so much Acellus Academy because before I started here, I was on the verge of failing the 8th grade because the public school I was in didn’t do anything to help me. When my mother found Acellus, it was a life changer for me. I feel more into learning new things because Acellus makes it fun to learn. I was never really I science fan but after I started tuning in to Science Live I love it. So thank you again Acellus, I don’t know where I’d be without you. I have an 3.00 GPA now thanks to you Acellus. Keep up the good work on changing students lives, because you sure DoD change mine!❤😊
I am curious, do the science live’s run all year long? If they do, are my kids required to watch them during the summer for the Scholarship?
Hi Melissa, Great question! To qualify for the Roger Billings Scholarship program, students must attend the weekly Science L!VE lecture, which may be access from the student’s account under learning activities, or online at sciencelive.com Any breaks will be announced. For more details on the scholarship, check out the following link. Roger Billings Scholarship Program
Hi. I have a huge problem with Science L!VE. The most recent episode won’t let me view it. It is saying something about “This program is no longer supported”. I got a few of my friends to try and view it and they got the same message. Is there a technical problem with Science L!VE or something?
Hi Lizzie, Feel free to contact Acellus Academy customer support for assistance with Science L!VE not playing. Share details such as whether you’re accessing it via the Acellus App or https://sciencelive.com, and the type of device you’re using.
Hello also I have a problem with Science Live. I have made comments on some of the videos and they have been waiting to be confirmed my moderation for the past 3 to 4 days. Is my comments not making it through to the mods or something?
