Apply for a Tuition Waiver

Does your family reside in Wyoming? If the answer is yes, you may be eligible for a tuition waiver for your child to attend school online through Cowboy State Virtual Academy. Since our curriculum is self-paced, we allow students to enroll throughout the school year. Before you get started, here are a few things to keep in mind. 

Who May Apply:

• Any Wyoming resident who is the parent or guardian of a school-aged child (at least 5 years of age).

What to Expect:

• Parents have an important role in online education and are responsible for supervising the day-to-day learning experience of their student. 
• Students need to regularly attend their online classes and meet the assigned weekly progress goals. 
• It is important to provide an environment for the student that is conducive to learning and free of distractions. 
• Each year, your student will be asked to participate in state standardized testing. These scores are used by the Wyoming Department of Education to measure the effectiveness of school districts, and are not figured into your child’s individual grades.
